Hello! My name is Lisa Schiffres. I graduated from JMU with my bachelor's degree in 2009, completed the requirements for my teaching license for grades PreK-6 in 2014, and most recently earned a master's in elementary education in 2019. With 11 years of experience across all different levels and subjects, I have worked as the librarian at Mountain View Elementary School for the last 3 years. I love being able to work with everybody in the school and pushing students to think critically and creatively. I am always eager to learn new things and I am looking forward to working with you as we enter this new year of learning in a virtual environment!
