Welcome!

My name is Shay Slettedahl and I am a third grade teacher at Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School. This will be my sixth year teaching at Rockford Elementary. In 2014, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Luther College, located in Decorah, Iowa. In addition to my elementary education degree, I hold a mathematics endorsement.

In my free time, I love to read, watercolor paint, practice calligraphy, and explore the outdoors. I also love to cook. My favorite meals include seafood, southern style barbecues, and Louisiana gumbos.
