WELCOME!

Thank you for taking a look at my class website! I am beyond excited to work with each of you throughout the school year. Throughout the year, we will have many opportunities to learn and grow together, and I am excited to see what we can accomplish in our classroom!

My class website is designed to be a functional, easy-to-access tool for parents, students and community members alike. I will work to update this website on a regular basis so it can be an effective resource for all of us. I have also included a google calendar on this page which lists all important FFA, classroom and school dates for you to be aware of. If you are unable to find what you are looking for or have additional questions, I am always open to answering questions over email or meeting before or after school.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

I graduated from the University of Minnesota—Twin Cities in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Agricultural Communication and Marketing along with minors in Animal Science, Agricultural/Food Business Management and Horticulture. I immediately began teaching agriculture in Fall 2019 and enjoy what I do very much. I also completed my Masters of Science in Agricultural Education and Communication through the University of Florida in May 2023. My thesis focused on agricultural curriculum design and leveraging student competition as a curricular resource.

My teaching career began at Rockford High School in 2022 and I am so excited to be in this district! I teach a variety of courses ranging from Animal Science to Welding and everything in between.
