Hello! My name is Mali Anderson and I am Kindergarten teacher at Rockford Elementary Arts Magnet School. I earned my Elementary Education Teaching License from the College of St. Scholastica and began teaching full-time at REAMS in 2016. In December 2018 I completed my Master's in Education, also from the College of St. Scholastica. I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten. There is constant energy and excitement for learning!

My education philosophy is to create a learning environment where first and foremost the children know they are safe and loved when in my care. My instructional philosophy for children is fun, engaging and hands on. I believe children learn best when they genuinely feel that their teacher cares about them and when they are moving about the classroom and have the opportunity to explore and work with others. I also enjoy partnering with parents and building a classroom community that is built on open communication, respect and trust.
