Mr. Kilmoyer is excited to begin another year teaching 8th Grade Social Studies and is especially excited to be part of Team 8N! This year marks his 31st year in education, and he continues to love the opportunity to help students learn, ask questions, think critically, and discover how history connects to the world around them.

Mr. Kilmoyer joined the staff at Red Lion Area Junior High in December 2015. Before coming to Red Lion, he served as the Athletic Director at Red Land High School in the West Shore School District. Prior to that, he taught Social Studies for 12 years in the Manheim Central School District, three years in the Northern Tioga Area School District, and one year as a long-term substitute in the Troy Area School District.

In the classroom, Mr. Kilmoyer believes Social Studies should be engaging, meaningful, and fun! He enjoys creating opportunities for students to participate, share their ideas, ask great questions, and make connections between the past and the world they live in today. He is looking forward to getting to know his students and making this a great year on Team 8N!

When he isn't in the classroom, you'll find Mr. Kilmoyer traveling, spending time with family, officiating high school and college sporting events, and cheering on his favorite Pittsburgh-area sports teams!
