About Me

Teaching ESL is a second career for me.  I worked as an insurance company manager and research analyst for 26 years before returning to school for a Master's degree in Education in 2010.

I taught English as a Second Language at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois from 2012 to 2015.

I teach all levels of students (ages 12 and older) from beginners to advanced.  I specialize in teaching grammar, pronunciation, writing, and also offer help in preparing for the TOEFL and IELTS exams.
