Teachers: Ms L. Casey & Miss R. Southwell
Our new topic for this term is called 'Tomb Raiders.' We will be learning all about Ancient Egypt!
In year 4 this term we have been travelling back to Ancient Egypt to experience life as an ancient Egyptian. So far we have already become Howard Carter and explored the tomb of Tutankhamun. We decoded some hieroglyphs and have begun to discover what life was like for Pharos and ordinary Ancient Egyptians alike. In Science, we are looking forward to learning the signs of mummification. In Geography we will be looking at crops, the land and the river Nile, which were crucial for their livelihood. We are excited to learn the similarities and differences between the different timescales and different countries.
