IMPORTANT REMINDER TO WAITLISTED FAMILIES:
Our office will contact the family of any student who may be offered an open spot. There is no need to contact us, or check these waitlists; they are provided as a courtesy.
Published waitlists are updated on our website as time allows, but not more than a couple of times per month.
Parents - To find your student's lottery number, choose the grade your student will be in the 2025-26 school year:
Grade 5 Selected for 2025-2026 school year (Lottery numbers on this list will be offered a spot at RSA. If your student's lottery number is not on the "selected" list, please look at the 5th grade waitlist below and find your position on the waitlist according to your high school attendance area).
We will begin calling waitlisted families for any potential openings in grades 6-8 for the 2025-26 school year, after Spring Break. REMEMBER- As stated in the FAQs, students entering 7th grade must be enrolled in Accelerated Math 7 to matriculate into this program. Be sure to speak to your student's middle school counselor about the Accelerated Math pathway, which is offered at all RUSD middle schools.
LOTTERY
Each student will be represented by a 6-digit lottery number.
Numbers will be electronically randomized and lists created for 5 high school attendance boundaries, UCR Senate Faculty.
Only the lottery numbers will be posted, we do not publish student ID numbers nor student information. Please refer to the lottery number you received by email.
