In Humanities, each student focuses on improving their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to become better communicators. As social scientists, students analyze primary and secondary sources to gain an understanding of why and how key events and decisions shaped United States history from the first Americans through westward expansion.

We use critical thinking to solve both skill-based and higher-level problems. We learn how math applies to the real world through project-based learning. We focus on the fact that everyone can do math, and that math is fun!

We learn science by doing science! Doing hands-on investigations and labs, engineering design challenges, and research projects helps us to build our science skills and habits of mind. We collect, organize, and interpret data to build our analytical skills. We read, write, and present to build our communication skills. Come do science with us at STEM!
