Welcome to the amazing 2020-2021 School Year!

I am so glad to be back with you. For our new parents let me tell you a little about me, I have been in the field of education for many years and I have been at Hawthorne for 5 years. I love that our program is about helping all students get help in the area they need and a lot of fun in the enrichment activities. I am available to talk to parents whenever you would like to have a chat. We have some new tutors and many on our team. Lets hear about them...

What is HEARTS About:

Helping Elementary Achievers Reach The Stars

HEARTS is an after school program currently in place at 20 Elementary schools in the Riverside Unified School District.

H.E.A.R.T.S. Promises to:


  • Provide a safe and positive learning atmosphere for students after regular school hours

  • Provide academic support

  • Provide personal enrichment and development opportunities for the special needs of Riverside youth

  • Provide positive mentoring

  • Provide a creative outlet for youth
