Elective overview

The Advanced Band elective is an exciting elective designed for regular and honorary 8th-grade students who have already enhanced their skills in playing a musical instrument for 1 or more years. This program allows students to take their musical abilities and double their skills by providing them with opportunities to refine their technique, explore new musical genres, and collaborate with other talented musicians. Advanced Band perfectly fits students passionate about music and seeking a challenging and rewarding experience. In this class, students can showcase their current skills and improve their performance skills. The Advanced Band elective provides a platform to develop skills and reach full musical potential with the skilled teaching of Mrs. Julie Olson.
