Team of Distinction—The Lions 1981 Football team was the very first team to win a CIF championship for Arlington. It is more impressive they did it only 8 years after the opening of Arlington in 1973. This team will be inducted into the Hall of Fame as the TEAM of DISTINCTION. All members are encouraged to return to their alma mater and participate in the Hall of Fame induction weekend events beginning with the football game vs. Poly Friday, August 25th. Dinner for the team of distinction and their families will be provided prior to the game. Saturday, August 26th they will be honored with medals at the HALL of FAME Induction Banquet.
