High School Hour of Code
The Hour of Code takes place worldwide each year during Computer Science Education Week. The 2017 Computer Science Education Week is December 4-10.
The Hour of Code started as a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify "code", to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science. It has since become a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science.
Below are links to the coding games to play. Each level you complete will earn you a ticket. Your 7th period teacher will hand these out. The tickets will then be drawn throughout the hour for small prizes from local businesses. These will be called over the intercom. If you are drawn, hurry down and get your prize! These range from ink pens to laser tag passes. You never know what you will get!
