I attended the University of Tampa and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.  I have my Masters in Reading/Literacy from Fairleigh Dickinson University.  I also received my certification in Orton Gillingham in May 2020.  I began teaching in 2011.  I have taught first, second, and third grade.  This will be my second year teaching Intervention! I am super excited and I am looking forward to a year full of learning, fun, and adventure! 

In my spare time, I love to be with my family and friends. I have an amazing and supportive husband named Brian, an adorable three year old named Nolan, a sweet baby girl named Leighton and a cute and fluffy dog named Oscar.  I have wonderful parents and an older sister and brother!  

I really enjoy working out on my Peloton and running.  I ran the NYC marathon in 2016 and the Chicago marathon in 2018!  I also love playing soccer, cooking, reading, skiing, and traveling.  My husband and I have traveled to many fun places in the United States and have visited Singapore, Bali, Croatia, Bosnia, and Germany together!
