English Teacher, Riverdale High School
Hello!
Hello!
I am originally from Connecticut, but moved to Portland from Brooklyn, NY about 11 years ago. I've taught ELA in Connecticut, New York City, and here in Portland. In the fall of 2024, I will be entering my fourth year at Riverdale High School. Concurrently, I am a graduate student in the English Department at Portland State University with a concentration in critical race and ethnic studies.

Beyond teaching, I have also worked as an instructional coach and as an ELA curriculum developer for prominent educational publishers.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy writing, performing, and playing music. I've been fortunate enough to have played music throughout the country and in Europe. When I can, I also spend time fly fishing for trout around the state.
