Rise Up Health Clinics (RUHC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) health organization. Founded in 2020, RUHC is nurse-founded and nurse-led working towards reducing healthcare access barriers and achieving health equity. RUHC operates two school-based health centers, providing accessible, low-cost health services to all children and adolescents in the affiliated schools. 

Mission: Our mission is to provide accessible, affordable care to improve health and educational outcomes. 

Vision: We aim to deliver community health equity and eliminate health disparities.

The Bear Care School-Based Health Center opened in March 2020. The clinic is located in White Bear Lake Area High School - North Campus and is available to the district's 9000+ students.

Rise Up started its partnership with St. Paul City School in Fall 2023. Rise Up offers health services to St. Paul City School's 550+ preK - 12th grade students in a mobile school-based health center model. 

Approximately 90% of St. Paul City School students qualify for free-and-reduced lunch rates. Rise Up is dedicated to helping St. Paul City School students have access to affordable and accessible healthcare.
