For MSA's Modernism & Environment SIG's Fall Reading Group, we will gather this time to read a creative work that has come up repeatedly in other conversations across the SIG.

On  Monday December 9 at 11:00am ET we will convene to discuss Muriel Rukeyser's The Book of the Dead (1938).

The discussion will, as always, be held online via Zoom. Email organizers to join listserv where link will be disseminated. 

We encourage you to purchase a copy of, or, digitally access the text. It will also be shared via the listserv, along with a short critical introduction and scholarly article which are entirely optional reading for those who want to dive deeper.
