Rotary Club of Delhi City Joins Hands with SBI for a Meaningful CSR Initiative on Menstrual Hygiene
The Rotary Club of Delhi City proudly partnered with SBI in an impactful CSR initiative, in collaboration with UniPads Foundation, founded by Ms. Geeta Solanki, aimed at promoting menstrual hygiene and sustainability among young girls.
Through this thoughtful program, 50,000 government schoolgirls were provided with reusable, washable cotton sanitary pads designed to be safe, sustainable, and highly absorbent. These pads are crafted to last up to a year with more than 60 washes, making them both eco-friendly and cost-effective.
Free from harmful chemicals, allergy-safe, and soft in texture, the sanitary pads ensure comfort while supporting better menstrual health. Beyond hygiene, the initiative focused on restoring dignity, boosting confidence, and creating awareness among young girls about safe and sustainable menstrual practices.
The program reflected a strong commitment to social responsibility, environmental consciousness, and women’s health. By coming together, Rotary Club of Delhi City, SBI, and UniPads Foundation worked towards creating real, positive, and lasting change—empowering young girls with knowledge, care, and confidence for a healthier future.
