Mamta Amrit Breast Milk Bank – A Step Towards Healthier Newborns 💙
The Rotary Club of Delhi City successfully marked a meaningful milestone with the inauguration of the Mamta Amrit Human Milk Bank, a heartfelt initiative dedicated to improving newborn health and care. 👶
The inauguration took place on 29 April 2026 at Swami Dayanand Hospital, bringing together healthcare leaders, social contributors, and members of the Rotary community for this noble cause.
Led by Dr. Rita Bakshi (President, Rotary Club of Delhi City), this initiative was inaugurated by AKS Rtn Dr. Amita Mohindru (District Governor 3012). Rtn Anil Mohindru (EMU Lines CSR) made a valuable contribution to this noble cause.
In addition, Rotary Club of Delhi Achievers and Rotary Club of Delhi City also extended their support. Rtn Ashish Gupta (President, Rotary Club of Delhi Achievers) actively participated and contributed to the initiative. The project was successfully executed by Sahibabad Trust.The event was attended by distinguished guests, including PDG Sharat Jain and PDG Rtn Rupak Jain and DLF Rtn Lalit Khanna.
The “Mamta Amrit Breast Milk Bank” aims to provide safe, hygienic, and nutritious breast milk to newborns, helping lay a strong foundation for their healthy future. This initiative not only supports neonatal health but also promotes awareness, compassion, and a spirit of community service.
