SKOOLCADE

June 2, 2018

Rio Vista Middle School

2nd Annual Ventura County Video Game Design Exhibition/Competition

Elementary, Middle School, & High School Levels

Prizes, Trophies, Industry Professional Judges, Food, Fun!

Coding is being taught throughout the county by creative teachers. We want to provide a way of bringing out the best student coders in our area and get some local High Tech businesses to take notice of the creative processes happening in our county.

In this challenge, students will create a video game in any platform and submit it for consideration. The top student games from the 3 age categories will be brought together for a morning with local speakers, game walkabouts, industry professionals, food, and prizes. All students who submit a game will receive a certificate of participation and an invite to the finals. Prizes will be awarded to the top three students or teams in each category/grade level. First place winners will be awarded entrance to IndieCade in October for the student/team and one adult.
