Dear Families,
What a wonderful group of kindergarteners! They are enthusiastic, participatory, and an absolute joy to work with. We began the year by learning two songs, “Buenos días a ti” and “Bienvenidos.” In addition, we are practicing numbers 1–15 through games, as well as individual and group activities.
We had a fun discussion about losing teeth and learned that, in the Spanish-speaking world, it isn’t the Tooth Fairy who visits, but rather El Ratón Pérez (Pérez the Mouse)! The students loved hearing about this tradition and making connections between cultures. They also thought it would be a good idea to ask for a gift from both!
