Dear families,
What a colorful month we’ve had! We learned a new song for colores and sang it loud and proud. We also played every game you can imagine with colores! Now it’s time to tuck the colors in for a little rest. They’ll come back in first grade with some new twists!
Another favorite in our class is story time. it’s amazing to see how, when I’m telling them in español, students light up as they figure out what something means or recognize words they’ve already learned or heard.
It’s such a joy to share these bright and playful moments with this fabulous group!

One of the games we played was Caza Moscas (fly swatter) where students listen to a color and need to hit it as fast as they can. This game will be played with different leves of complexity in the coming years.
