                                        De Mandatos a Secuencias

                                                        (From commands to sequences)

Fifth graders worked wonderfully this month! They made an impressive leap from following single commands to handling full chains of action. Not only were they able to understand and respond to sequences, but they also produced their own, both orally and in writing. The sequences included both predictable and unexpected elements, which truly challenged and strengthened their comprehension.

Todos A la Vez “All at once” is an introduction to reading sequences. In this activity, students must carry out the instructions given in messages within a set time frame—without speaking.

After completing the reading sequences, students moved on to writing their own—and they were wonderfully creative! Some samples were displayed in Spark Night!
