Welcome to Physical Education!
Our program is designed to help students build healthy movement habits, explore fun ways to move, and practice working together with kindness and mutual respect. In PE, students will learn and strengthen their fundamental motor skills while developing spatial awareness, body control, and a love for physical activity.
This year, our class will focus on:
Locomotor skills: running, hopping, skipping, galloping, and jumping
Non-locomotor skills: balancing, twisting, stretching
Manipulative skills: throwing, catching, kicking, rolling, striking
Spatial awareness and body control
Simple games that emphasize participation, movement, and fun
Please remind your child to wear comfortable clothing and proper shoes on PE days (Mondays and Fridays).
