Rime Leadership & Board

Spiritual Director – Lama Matthew Palden Gocha

Lama Matthew, Lobpön Palden Gocha, has been practicing Buddhism since 2000 and a member of the Rime Center since 2001. After the Rime Center's Founder Lama Chuck retired at the end of 2015, Lama Matthew has been serving as the Spiritual Director of the Rime Buddhist Center. His main tradition is the non-monastic Ngakpa (lay-yogic) tradition of the KaNying lineage. He also adheres to the Rimé philosophical approach of non-sectarianism. Thanks in part to this approach he also has connections to the Gelug lineage as well. Read more.

Executive Director – Gabi Otto, Dawa Dolma

Gabi Otto has been a member of the Rime Buddhist Center since 2003. Over the last decade, she has been a board member and has worked with Lama Chuck on the prison outreach project. After the Rime Center's Founder Lama Chuck retired at the end of 2015, Gabi has been serving as the Executive Director of the Rime Buddhist Center.  Read more.

Class Facilitators, Meditation Leads, and Volunteer Coordinator

A core curriculum of classes are offered that allow those new to Buddhism and to the Rime Center a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of Tibetan Buddhism.
