For this project, I designed a high-fidelity prototype for a gaming e-commerce website focused on making product discovery and checkout more intuitive and accessible. My goal was to reduce difficult navigation throughout the user journey and create a clean, easy-to-navigate experience for a wide range of users.
I started with paper wireframes and quickly iterated into low-fidelity prototypes to test layout and navigation. Through usability testing, I identified key issues such as unclear headings, missing back navigation, and a lack of feedback after checkout.
Using those insights, I refined the information architecture and moved into high-fidelity design, where I focused on typography, color accessibility, and interactive elements. I designed clear navigation paths, improved traversal order, and added features like a confirmation screen to give users better feedback and control.
This project really highlights my ability to take research insights and translate them into thoughtful design decisions, while balancing visual design, usability, and accessibility. It also helped me grow in designing for desktop environments and thinking more holistically about the full user experience.
