東アジア インターナショナル・スクールライブラリアンズ・ フォーラム 2018
We, the ISLF 2018 Planning Committee are pleased to announce a series of workshops to share leading and good practices of professional school librarians in international schools and IB schools in East Asia. Each day, we are learning more about the present status of school libraries in our region in the morning, and learning collaboratively in hands-on workshop on a particular theme in the afternoon.
Our colleagues- librarians and students who have a wish to take a lead in opening up new possibilities for the school library, please join us this year. We believe this is also an ideal opportunity to expand your professional network in the region!

(Ms. Vance holds an MSLS from UNC-Chapel Hill and a BA in English from UNC Greensboro. She started her education career as a high school English teacher in the United States and Brazil. After becoming a librarian, she worked in schools in the United States and Angola before joining Yokohama International School in 2015. )

Mr. Bingqing Zhao, Head Librarian, Beijing Royal Education
(Mr. Zhao is working in the school as head librarian, media specialist and a Pre-DP subject teacher. He holds a master’s degree on Information / Library Management, University of Hong Kong. He has worked in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Beijing as a teacher and/or librarian for more than a decade.)

Please note before you sign up
■ The communication language is English. We welcome both Japanese and international participants.
■ No registration fee is required. The workshops are planned and ran by volunteers, and sponsored by a research grant from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. All participants are asked to answer an online questionnaire related to a research on “developing curriculum for professional school librarians: approaching a global standard” after each workshop.

下記の要領で，東アジア地域のインターナショナルスクールやIB（国際バカロレア）認定校の専門職スクールライブラリアンの先進的な実践やすばらしい実践を共有する連続公開ワークショップを開催いたします。午前中は東アジアの学校図書館の現状に関するお話をうかがい，午後は特定のテーマについての実践的なワークショップを行います。
新しい教育を切りひらくスクールライブラリアンになりたい！という，熱意あふれる方のご参加をお待ちしています。また，この機会に，私たちの地域の専門職ネットワークを形成いたしましょう。

お申し込み方法
各回20名を上限に，先着順で，こちらのサイトより受け付けます。お申し込みにはご連絡先として，メールアドレスが必要であり，当方からの連絡はすべてメールで行います。
ご留意ください
① 各回，東アジアの名門インターナショナル・スクールで学校図書館専門職として働く講師を迎えて， 学生で学校図書館での勤務を将来のキャリアとして考える者や，すでに日本国内外の学校図書館で働く教職員らに対して，英語でワークショップを提供していただきます。立教大学司書課程登録学生等がボランティアとして言語サポートにあたりますが，英語の正規通訳は不在です。
② 本フォーラムは参加費無料です。ボランティアの手と「グローバル水準の学校図書館専門職養成カリキュラムの開発研究」に対する科学研究費補助金によって実施します。各回終了後，参加された方に，メールで，同研究のための質問紙調査をお願いします。ご協力いただきたく，お願いいたします。
