2025 Spring Semester Enrollment Details for New Residents

• Contract Period:

March 24, 2025 - Early March, 2026 (tentative)

　Please note that the contract period is tentative and may be subject to slight adjustments. 

• Dormitory Fee: 

Dormitory must be paid by two installments by the designated date.

1st-Half Dormitory Fee : Approximately 560,000 yen

2nd-Half Dormitory Fee : Approximately 800,000 yen

　The total amount may vary slightly depending on changes to the contract period or other factors. 

2025 Fall Semester Enrollment Details for New Residents

• Contract Period:

Late August, 2025 (tentative)- Early August, 2026  (tentative)

　Please note that the contract period is tentative and may be subject to slight adjustments. 

• Dormitory Fee: 

Dormitory must be paid by two installments by the designated date.

1st-Half Dormitory Fee : Approximately 790,000 yen

2nd-Half Dormitory Fee : Approximately 570,000 yen

The total amount may vary slightly depending on changes to the contract period or other factors. 

• Additional Costs per month  (as of October 2024):

Fire Insurance: 3,000 yen (one-time fee upon moving in)

Internet: 3,960 yen per month

Electricity: 7,150 yen per month

Meal Plan: 17,066 yen per month (optional)

• If you plan to study at Rikkyo University for two semesters, you may renew your contract by completing the contract renewal procedure.

1. Bedding Lease (upon request)

You can apply for a urethane mattress and a 7-piece bedding set together.

• Bedding Lease Fee (as of January 2024):

6 months: 24,640 yen (tax included)

2. Meal Plan (upon request)

RUID provides breakfast and dinner prepared in the dormitory.

• Meal plan fee (as of January 2024) : 17,066 yen (monthly)

• Please note that meals are not provided on Sundays, national holidays, and other dates specified by the dormitory.

• Vegetarian, vegan, halal, etc. cannot be offered.

• Changes to the application can only be made once during the school year.

• In the case of students coming to Japan in the spring semester, there is a period in March when meals are not provided.

• Even if you do not apply for the meal plan, each private room is equipped with a small electric cooker and refrigerator so that you can prepare your own meals.

• If you have specific preferences regarding meals, please prepare your own meals in the kitchen located in each room.
