Hello Ridgeview Junior High Students and Families!!

My name is Stacie Kennedy and I am super excited to be back for another year of junior high math!  

I graduated from Illinois State University a looooong time ago and began my career as a 6th Grade teacher at Bloomington Junior High School.  During my time at BJHS, I was able to teach math, science, social studies and English.  But my true passion is mathematics and so in 2018 when I had the opportunity to join the Ridgeview staff and teach math full time, I couldn't pass it up.   This will be my 20th year of teaching!!

I live in Colfax with my husband, who teaches at Ridgeview as well, and our four kiddos, our 3 dogs and 2 turtles!!  When I'm not at school activities or games, I love to read, travel, cook and sometimes work in my flower garden!!

I'm so excited for the 2023-2024 school year.  Go Mustangs!!
