Hello, and thank you for visiting my page! My name is Lauren Schuler, and this is my 10th year serving as Ridgeview's District Librarian. 

I completed my undergrad at Illinois State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Then, I graduated from the University of Illinois with a Master's Degree in Library and Information Sciences. I truly love being a school librarian! 

I live in the country with my husband, and three children, Vance, Vayda, and Tripp.  My husband is a farmer and also raises livestock, so we often have adorable baby pigs on our farm and a few cows. We have a yellow labrador named Gracie. She is ten years old and is loved by our whole family! 

When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, listening to audiobooks, playing outside, and shopping online.

I look forward to another great school year, where I can continue to support students with access to books & materials and to share my love for reading!
