Hello Pre-K friends and  families! My name is Kari Maubach and I am very excited to be back at Ridgeview for my fourth year as the Pre-K teacher! Before I became the Pre-K teacher at Ridgeview, I was an elementary aide. 

I grew up not too far from here in Piper City and graduated from Tri-Point High School.  I then went on to get my teaching degree in Early Childhood with my endorsement in Special Education Birth-3rd Grade from Illinois State University .  

My husband, Derrick and I have been married for 14 years.  We live in the Tri-Valley school district with our two children.  Austin is 18 and a Freshman at Millikin University and Hailey is almost 12 and in 6th grade at Tri-Valley.    

When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my family and camping.  Austin plays baseball for Millikin and Hailey enjoys playing basketball at Tri-Valley and Tennis.    We spend a lot of our free time at practices and games watching the kids do what they love!
