Michael Rivera

Welcome to Mr. Rivera's High School Art Courses. I am very excited to join the Ridgefield Public School system as Department Chair for the Visual & Performing Arts Department. The last 7 years I have worked as a high school art teacher at Shepaug Valley School in Region-12. Prior to Shepaug I was employed at SUNY-Purchase University as an Adjunct Sculpture Professor.

I look forward to building relationships and forging partnerships with the Ridgefield educational community while guiding our students toward success in whatever artistic endeavor they pursue.
