OVERVIEW

Join us for an engaging K–12 mini-conference hosted by the RCS Technology Department where educators can explore new technology tools, participate in hands-on sessions, and experience the STEM playground. Attendees will have opportunities to win prizes and swag while enjoying food from local food trucks. The event is open to teachers, staff, and anyone passionate about education, and participants can earn 0.5 CEU hours.

We would like to welcome our Keynote Speaker Dr Brittany C. Roberts who graduated from Richmond Senior High School in 2012. Dr. Brittany C. Roberts is an educational leader, author, and scholar-practitioner committed to advancing sustainable leadership and transformative learning environments. She is the author of Revelational Insights and the visionary behind Unbroken and Unbowed, a framework rooted in her doctoral research that is now being shaped into a coaching model designed to help leaders understand their identity and build systems and structures that align with who they are, so the leadership they practice is authentic, sustainable, and whole.

As a former founding Head of School, Dr. Roberts has led the complex work of launching a public charter school, shaping her expertise in organizational alignment, leader well-being, and long-term sustainability. She currently serves as an educational consultant for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, where she supports the development of strategic vision and the advancement of educational priorities across the state of North Carolina.

Her work bridges research and real-world application, equipping leaders to lead with clarity, build aligned systems, and sustain both their vision and themselves, remaining unbroken and unbowed.

Attendees: Registration will be located beside the cafeteria. All attendees must register upon arrival and no later than 10:15 AM to receive CEU credit, be eligible for raffle prizes, and receive a food voucher.
