About me

Hi everyone! 👋

I am so excited to join the Richland Elementary Team this school year! I’ve been lucky enough to work with children for about 15 years, and for the last 8+ years I’ve been a special education teacher—a job I truly love! I studied at Penn Highlands Community College,  Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and later earned my master’s degree through Western Governors University.

When I’m not at school, I’m usually spending time with my family and our pets. We love being outdoors—hiking, camping, and exploring new places. And when it comes to sports, we’re BIG fans of hockey and all things Pittsburgh (Go Pens, Steelers, and Pirates!). 🏒🏈⚾

This year, I have the privilege of working with our Kindergarteners in Learning Support, as well as providing Autistic and Emotional Support in the elementary school. I can’t wait to meet everyone and have a fun year of learning and growing together!
