Franks and Wright won for their Senior Group Exhibit on the Iran Hostage Crisis. Corujo and Richardson won for their Senior Group Website on the Summer Olympic Boycott.

Ridge View High School Arts Innovation for Medical Sciences Magnet received the New and Emerging Merit Award: School of Excellence from the National Magnet Schools of America.

The Scholars Academy Magnet for Business and Law sophomore and junior classes testified to the South Carolina Joint Legislative and Citizens Committee on Children, speaking on the need for better comprehensive health education, more mental health services, and better education on how to identify potential abuse.

For completing over 500 service hours through the Richland County Recreation Commission, Student Council is named an Outstanding Service Group.
National Honor Society raises $5,102 for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Ridge View Student Council was recognized as a 2022 National Gold Council of Excellence by the National Student Council. Student Body President Domenique Branch was inducted into the Terry McCoy Hall of Fame. Student Council placed 2nd in the Recognition Project for Teacher of the month, 3rd in School Spirit for Homecoming 2021, and Ridge View’s Student Activities Director, Ms. Paige Fennell, was elected President of the Advisors Association.

JROTC Rifle Team received 3 trophies at the Lower Richland High School rifle meet.
Social Studies teacher, Ms. Mullen, is the 1st recipient of the Good Human Bean award in the district.
During Winter Wishes, Ridge View accomplished the following: adopted 10 families (50 individuals) through Families Helping Families, collected 1242 toiletries for Sistercare, donated $2500 to Habitat for Humanity, created 200 holiday greeting cards for veterans and residents of the Harmony, received 24 donations during our blood drive, and donated 11,128 items for Harvest Hope Food Bank.
2021 Homecoming Court raised over $14,000 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
