At the National History Day State Competition, Scholars Academy Magnet Sophomores, Ahmari Hunt, Sophia DeLancey, Tamea Chappelle, and Morgan Perry, placed 1st in Group Documentary. Emma Ishakov placed 1st in the Individual Documentary. Clementine Jordan and Jacynth Tucker placed 3rd (alternate) in Group Documentary. will be going to Nationals in June. Hunt, DeLancey, Chappelle, Perry, and Ishakov will attend Nationals in June. Jordan and Tucker are alternates.

Student Council received awards for all of their projects that were submitted. Unity Day Video (Community Service) - 2nd place, Feel Good Friday (Recognition) - 2nd place in 4a/5a, and Senior Sunrise (Recreational Activities) - 1st place in 4A/5A.
Student Council named a SCASC Gold Honor Council and received the 2021 National Gold Council of Excellence award from the National Student Council.
