Additional resources/tips for home
Multiplication/Division flash cards with and without a timer.
Read magazines, chapter books, newspapers or other sources of print over the weekends and school holidays. Ask your child to write a short paragraph to summarize what they read or retell it to you.
Ask who, what, when, where, why, how questions on any books they read at home.
Dollar Tree and 5 Below has AMAZING school resources such as workbooks, flash cards, puzzles etc. to enhance learning and are very inexpensive.
Any work they bring home to complete, if it’s not neat, make them erase and write it over to practice good penmanship like we use in class.
