About Me . . .

After having graduated Valedictorian in 1987 from Wren High School, I attended Furman University where I received a B.S. degree in Biology (1991) and a Master's in Secondary Administration/Supervision (1995). I added certification to include all science courses upon receiving my Master's Plus Thirty in Curriculum.

Over the past 29 years, I have taught a wide range of science courses at all levels throughout the Midlands and Upstate of South Carolina. I have been at Westwood for a total of eight years. During the 2017-2018 school year, I was proudly selected as Westwood High School's Teacher of the Year. It is indeed a distinct pleasure to be a part of the Westwood family. Go Redhawks!
