I was born and raised in Venezuela, on the northwest part of the country, in a city on the east coast of Maracaibo Lake.
This is my 28th year teaching, 21th at Spring Valley High School.
This year I will be teaching Spanish 3 College Prep, 3 Honors and 4 Honors
I love Spanish, I love the Hispanic culture and I love teaching our students at Spring Valley. I love traveling and taking students with me, I love reading and spending time with family and friends.

WLOE Dept point recovery policy:
Students will have an opportunity to make corrections to portions of selected tests, at the teacher’s discretion, to recover a portion of the points missed.
Students will have the opportunity to retake each vocabulary quiz as many times as necessary during the allotted time provided for each Lesson.
TUTORING:
There is free tutoring paid by the SV Education Foundation in Tutoring and Testing Center with one of our Certified WL teachers on Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Also, on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 p.m, the National Spanish Honor Society members tutor in the Tutoring and Testing Center.
