A supported arch will remove the physical breakdown and tearing of the plantar fascia Tendon.

Custom Orthotics are a proven treatment for Plantar Fasciitis.

Plantar Fasciitis - Arch Pain

Plantar fasciitis is a disorder that results in pain in the heel and bottom of the foot.

The pain is usually most severe with the first steps of the day or following a period of rest.

It is also associated with inward rolling of the foot (pronation).

Heel Spurs are frequently found.

Most cases of plantar fasciitis resolve with time and Orthotic Treatment.

Custom medical grade orthotics, especially those made by 3-D imaging computers, represent a new state-of-the-art treatment to the underlying cause of the deformity.

It is imperative that we treat the biomechanical cause of pain instead of treating it with drugs and surgery which many times fails.

Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common disorders seen relative to the foot pain.

The primary cause is due to the inability of the foot to properly transmit load of body weight during the walking (gait) cycle.

With this disorder there is a problem where bone fails to support bodyweight as a result of a failure of joints properly working (joint locking).

When this happens, the force of body weight moves onto soft tissue structures on the bottom of the foot (flexor muscles and plantar fascia).

These structures are not designed to take extreme cyclic load and thereby become inflamed leading to irritation and pain while standing and walking.

Urban Terrain -

Walking on flat hard artificial surfaces such as, asphalt, cement, tile. Human beings are not designed to ambulate on flat hard surfaces.

This type of terrain increases linear shock load to joints leading to pain inflammation and arthritic damage. New advancements in Kinetic Footwear offers patients you ability to reduceShock loading from man-made surfaces.

The foot and limb are designed as mobile adapters for variable terrain surfaces such as, trails, grass, dirt, and sand.

Our solutions to these conditions involves medical grade orthotics and kinetic footwear which buffers the body against urban terrain.

Flexor or posterior muscle group tightness -

The hamstring muscle group and the calf or gastrocnemius muscle group commonly seen with functional shortages.

When these muscle groups are tight or short, they cause an abnormal shift in the center of body mass affect in the limb and lumbar spinal structures.

Generally, hamstring muscle group shortage are seen and men and gastrocnemius muscle group shortages are seeing in women.

Pronated feet (Flatfoot)

This is a condition where the foot abnormally collapses Leading to instability of the foot, limb and spinal structures.

This pronation condition leads to joint instability and causes abnormal cyclic load to affect the flexor muscles of the foot and plantar fascia structures.

This condition also creates abnormal limb rotation which further aggravates rotational stress on the limb making the knee and hip vulnerable two other pain conditions.

What we see was computer imaging

3-D kinematic imaging provides an effective diagnostic tool for identifying how the arch and rear foot perform when you’re standing and walking.

We are able to see the linear forces that traumatize the structures as well as the gait conditions that interfere with cyclic load pressure due to the velocity of movement

Rigid high arch cavus feet

This foot condition creates trauma to soft tissue structures on the bottom of the foot due to the fact that this type of foot has restricted motion and as a result the foot fails to absorb shock properly.

Custom Foot Orthotics support the arch tendon keeping it from stretching while at full weight bearing.
