Hello ! I am a sixth-year graduate student in the Mathematics Department at Rice University. I am currently on the job market this academic year 2025-26. My advisors are Tony Várilly-Alvarado and Emily McMillion and my research is in algebraic geometry codes. Before this I participated in the post-baccalaureate program at the Center for Women in Math at Smith College. I attended Scripps College for undergrad.
This semester I'm teaching Math 110, a co-requisite pre-calculus course I co-created last Fall.
You can see my CV here.
Upcoming travel:
October 3-5, 2025: I am speaking at the AMS 2025 Fall Southeastern Sectional Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, in the Special Session on Cryptography, Coding Theory, and their Intersections with Algebraic Geometry and Combinatorics.
January 4-7, 2026: I am speaking at JMM 2026 in the Special Session for Rethinking Number Theory.
