I am a Postdoctoral Fellow and Lecturer in the Department of Computational Applied Mathematics and Operations Research (CMOR) at Rice University working with Dr. Beatrice Riviere. My research interests lie broadly in the numerical and mathematical analysis of partial differential equations (PDEs) in solid and fluid mechanics. In particular, I am interested in the design and theoretical analysis of high-order accurate finite element methods that can be used to solve challenging multiphysics problems of interest in a variety of industries. My current research is supported through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) postdoctoral fellowship program.

I hold a B.Sc. in Mathematics with Engineering from the University of Prince Edward Island, and a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Dr. Sander Rhebergen. My graduate studies were supported by NSERC through the Alexander Graham Bell Canadian Graduate Scholarship program, and I was awarded the University of Waterloo’s 2022/2023 Applied Mathematics Department’s Doctoral Prize.
