A.S.P.I.R.E.S. ATP
Class overview
A.S.P.I.R.E.S. Adult Transition Program (Attainment, Self-Advocacy, Personal Growth, Independent Living, Responsibility, Employment Readiness, and Social Skills) will provide functional academic instruction, supervised life skills and vocational training, as well as individualized support for students with special needs, so that they may transition from their role of high school students to that of participating adults in the community.

Mr. A
Ernie Agramonte has been a teacher at A.S.P.I.R.E.S. ATP since 2018. He truly enjoys working with the students and loves being a part of the Rialto community.
Mr. Decker
Richard Decker has been teaching in Special Education since 1997. He taught at the high school level before joining San Bernardino County to teach grades 3-5. In 2000, he accepted a position with Rialto USD. He has been teaching at A.S.P.I.R.E.S. ATP since 2018.
Mrs. Contreras
Mrs. Contreras has been working as a Special Education Teacher since 2004 after graduating from Cal Stat San Bernardino. She has worked at the elementary and high school levels. She has worked at A.S.P.I.R.E.S. ATP since 2021.
Outcomes and Expectations of the Program
The intended outcomes for ATP students is that they exit with a variety of life skills that increase their independence and render them employable for either a direct hire, supported employment , or volunteer job. All students will have received extensive public bus and mobility training to move between instructional sites in the community.
The ATP will utilize a supported employment model to place students in appropriate work, community and school settings where students will learn skills for success.
Transition Instruction is to take place primarily in integrated, age-appropriate, functional, recreational, community based settings for better generalization of skills.
