STEP 2 - Choose one of the mediums below to present the information to your peers.
Adobe Spark - If you are completing one of these projects, you must have a storyboard completed before beginning. You must have at least 8 slides, not including the title slide. Slides should consist of mostly images, and text should be removed and replaced with a voice over. At least 6 slides must have a voice over. Please click here to gain access to Adobe Spark.
Podcast - If you are completing a podcast, you must write a script before starting. It must be about 2 minutes long. If you would like to host a guest on your podcast, you may, but if they are in class, they must be done with their project to record with you. You may want to record at home with a sibling or parent. Please click here for the online voice recorder website.
Infographic or Sketch Notes - If you are completing one of these projects, you must have bullet pointed notes on a separate piece of paper that you will use as a checkoff list to include on your final project. You must also collect all images before beginning. Each research question must be represented on your project with an adequate mix of words and images.
Blog Post - Before beginning, you must have an outline of what you will be writing about. You also need to gather relevant images to scatter throughout your blog post. You must include information answering each of the 8 questions in a creative, fun, and engaging way.
Please use Google Slides for this!
Short Story - Before beginning, you must fill out a plot outline to make sure you have all the important elements of plot. Once that is complete, you may begin writing. You must answer all of the questions from the research section in your story as part of the dialogue or plot.
Please use a Plot Roller Coaster and a Google doc for this!
Pixton - Before beginning, you must create a storyboard which will outline your comic. You must include information answering each of the 8 questions in a creative, fun, and engaging way throughout the comic strip.
STEP 3 - Fill in your ELA teacher on your game plan! Click here to fill out the form.
STEP 4 - Research, Research, Research!
You will be receiving a double-sided document. There are various questions about the holiday you have selected. Please answer the following questions, in short paragraph form, using the paper provided by your ELA teacher.
