It is an honour to lead our school as Tumuaki, a role I take seriously as we focus on always putting our ākonga at the centre of learning here at Rhode Street School.
I have a very supportive whānau alongside me to ensure we are continuously improving on how we not only raise but accelerate student progress and achievement where needed.
Our Board of Trustees is the leader of learning at Rhode Street. They ensure our teachers are supported and resourced to carry out their effective teaching duties to enable our students to be successful learners.
Our kaiako and support staff work smart and efficiently to support our ākonga voice and their learning. They collaborate with each other to share best practices and strengthen their skills across the school and community.
Our whānau are an important component of our team. They support learning at kura and in the home by building and maintaining positive relationships with our kaiako and ākonga.
Our ākonga are the most important members of our whānau. They share their learning, their challenges and their opportunities with all of us.
Together we are strong whānau who respect each other and look after each other.
