Protecting rhinos | Conservation | Save the Rhino International
Save the Rhino International exists to save rhinos and grow the global population. We help protect all five rhino species, with an emphasis on the three Critically Endangered species: the Black, Sumatran and Javan. With your support and donations, we can help look after rhinos at every stage of their struggle.
Bringing Experts Together | Conservation | Save the Rhino International
A key area for us is encouraging the exchange of information and expertise between rhino conservation specialists, state agencies and NGOs. We share knowledge and help link experts together. This ensures that people working at the frontline of conservation benefit from the best skills possible. Find out more.
Involving Communities | Conservation | Save the Rhino International
It takes more than high security and habitat protection to ensure that rhino populations thrive. Local community support is essential if we are to save the rhino. Learn about our funding for lcoal education programmes that are protecting rhinos and ensuring that communities benefit from conservation.
Reducing Illegal Wildlife Trade | Save the Rhino International
In Viet Nam and China, high demand and low enforcement of wildlife crime are driving the illegal trade in rhino horn. We are working to stop consumers from wanting to buy horn in the first place.
Rhino Species | Learn | Save the Rhino International
Three of the five rhino species are Critically Endangered and two are threatened. Learn more about each species and how you can get involved with rhino conservation.
