Mrs. Tofani--- Librarian/Science & Biology, Computer, Library Teacher

After graduating with a B. S. in Biology from Clarion University, Mrs. Tofani went on to Slippery Rock University to attain her Science Teaching Certificate. During her student teaching, she was observed by a Reynolds principal and then later hired to teach Biology and General Science at Reynolds Junior-Senior High School in 1990 and has been teaching here since then. She continued her studies and went on to graduate with a Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College in 2000. Her career has varied here at Reynolds as she later attained both her Library Certification and Computer Technology Certification and put these to use as well. In 2008 she began to run both the elementary and high school libraries while teaching all students in grades K-6 for 3 years. Mrs. Tofani is now full-time at the high school where she runs the library and teaches classes in Library Skills and Research, Applied Computer Literacy, and Biology. In 2015, Mrs. Tofani petitioned for and was permitted to restart the Library Club for grades 9-12. She is excited to be the volunteer club advisor and loves the support her students give the library! She also tutors students after school in the library, serves as Sophomore Class Advisor and as the High School Public Communications Coordinator.
