CURRICULUM
At Revival City College great emphasis is placed on Academics. We believe that as educators we need to instill in our children the desire to want to learn. In order to achieve this we believe the focus of all teaching needs to be not on the recalling of facts, but rather on the application of those facts. Critical thinking, analysis and problem solving are crucial to all effective learning at RCC. With this in mind Revival City College follows the CAPS Curriculum, although this has been adjusted to meet the academic standards we are aiming at. The adjustments to the CAPS Curriculum includes not exclusively, the assessment and promotion requirements, as well as the number of tasks required to be covered and the weighting of the termly assessments.
We believe ourselves to be a ‘NO EXCUSE ‘ college, encouraging all stakeholders to adopt the attitude that ‘we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us’ and as such we will strive to master the skills necessary to be taught and learnt in order to allow each child to develop to their full potential academically.
Our IEB and UMALUSI registrations are pending. We are registered with ACSI South Africa.
