COVID-19 RESPONSE

Revita Arts Center is Commited to Safety!

After spending the summer preparing, we are very excited to open the studio up to in-person classes starting August 17th, 2020! We are in communication with our local Health Department and continue to listen carefully to their suggestions and mandates regarding best practices to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

In order to host classes in person, we are dedicated to the following rules and practices at our studio:

MASKS: All who enter the studio must wear a mask unless exempt according to the current Wisconsin mandate.

CLASSROOM SAFETY:
-All classes have been measured out and limited in size to maintain a safe social distance of 6 feet apart during class. All choreography and curriclum has been adjusted accordingly.
-Upon entering the classroom, students will sanitize their hands either by hand washing or hand sanitizer.
-Classroom surfaces are disinfected after each class.
-Students are required to wear one mask per class they attend in an evening.

STUDIO SAFETY:
-The studio as a whole (doors/door handles, floors, cubbies, ballet bars, chairs, bathrooms, etc.) is sanitized at the end of any day where classes were held.
-As explained in detail below, we have limited the amount of people in our studio at one time by closing our waiting areas and asking that only students enter the building.

INDIVIDUAL SAFETY:
-Students and Staff should not enter the studio if they have a fever or any symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact (within 6 feet of an individual for more than 15 minutes) with somebody who has tested positive with COVID-19, are waiting COVID-19 test results, or have any reason to believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19.
-All students and staff should wash their hands often and observe good hygenie practices.

Who can enter the studio?

- Students may enter the studio 5 minutes before their scheduled class time. They should put their street shoes in the cubbies provided and bring their dance bags to their classroom where there are more cubbies available for bags and water bottles. In their classroom they will sanitize their hands either by washing or hand sanitizer. When class is over, we ask that your student meet up with you again outside the studio, either outside your car or outside our doors as long as you are not blocking the way for any entering students

- Parents/Guardians may enter the studio during scheduled appointments only. At this time the only scheduled appointments we are taking are Assessment classes for new students and Open House appointments.

- If your student is 5 years old or younger, ONE parent/guardian may enter the building with them to assist them with changing shoes. Our waiting areas are closed, once they are off to class we ask that you continue to wait out of studio until class is over.

We are prepared to host classes online-only if necessary for the safety of our students and community as a whole. We are a tech-enabled studio, and have invested into providing our instructors with quality technology to make online classes the best it can be! Any student may opt for online-only classes at any time within the season if they so choose, agknowledging that the instructor will have in-person students to focus on as well.
