Mrs. LuAnn Edwards

Mrs. LuAnn Edwards joined the administrative team three years ago after her daughter, a founding student at FCA Leander, graduated in 2020. Since the school’s beginning, she served as a volunteer leader in support of the athletics program, most notably, helping to create and operationalize the Archers Athletic Booster Club.

Mrs. Edwards brings with her the values and experiences gained from a 30 year career with the American Cancer Society where community mobilization, fundraising, education, and advocacy in support of cancer patients and their families were the ultimate goals. She was fortunate to have worked with state, national and global leaders to implement strategies in the fight against cancer.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, Chuck, daughter, Emily, and extended family and friends. Her biggest joy is supporting Emily’s ventures. This fall and winter Mrs. Edwards will be cheering Emily on as she plays Southwestern University basketball.
